Overseas construction orders won by South Korean builders last month spiked 61 percent from a year earlier, but mainly on a handful of large projects, the government said Tuesday.
In January, overseas construction orders for South Korean companies amounted to US$6.02 billion. It marked the first time since 2010 that January's monthly total exceeded the $6 billion mark, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
