Switzerland to fund Aswan water projects upgrade

Switzerland's international cooperation office in Cairo has signed agreements with Egyptian contractors to improve supply of potable water in Aswan province, southern Egypt.
The agreements, at EGP 18 million, are part of an initiative launched in 2013 to upgrade water services in Aswan, the Swiss embassy in Cairo said in a statement.
Switzerland's Ambassador to Egypt Markus Leitner asserted that his country was committed to supporting sustainable development projects in Egypt.
