
Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil left for Paris on Monday on a two-day visit during which he will hold talks with senior French government officials including Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad Matthias Fekl and Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs Emmanuel Macron and a number of members of the French entrepreneurs council.
The minister is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Egyptian-French Business Forum and hold meetings with a number of senior French companies operating in the fields of logistics and vehicles, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Monday.
Qabil said his visit to France aims to promote trade and economic relations between the two sides and hold consultations with a number of French companies to attract them to carry out investments in Egypt or joint ventures.
