Transport minister meets Italian ambassador on cooperation to improve railways

Transport Minister Saad El Gioushy on Sunday met with Italian Ambassador in Cairo Maurizio Massari and heads of Italian companies specialized in the field of transport technology.
Spokesman of the ministry Ahmed Ibrahim said that the meeting dealt with ways to boost cooperation in the field of managing and operating the railways.
The minister told the delegation that the ministry prefers investment and joint manufacturing in this regard to take advantage of foreign expertise, train Egyptian staff, provide job opportunities for young people, run factories and provide hard currency.
