Moscow - MENA
The United Arab Emirates is interested in possible deliveries of Russia's Su-35 multirole air superiority fighters, Sputnik quoted Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, who led the Russian delegation at the IDEX 2017 exhibition, as saying Monday.
"Colleagues have expressed interest in the possible supplies of Su-35s, held relevant talks, we will discuss this in more detail," Manturov said.
The 13th biennial IDEX kicked off on Sunday in the United Arab Emirates' capital of Abu Dhabi and will last through Thursday. The exhibition is the only one in the Middle East region to include the latest technology in land, sea and air defense sectors, traditionally visited by senior government and military officials from around the world.
Russia's 4th++ generation combat plane, the super maneuverable Su-35, is already being supplied to the Aerospace Forces and has even participated in Moscow's counterterrorism campaign in Syria. It employs technologies of the fifth generation. The first experimental Su-35 was first presented at Russia’s MAKS-2007 air show.

Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led
