The Ukrainian airline industry has rebounded from a slowdown triggered by the bankruptcy of flag carrier Aerosvit, Deputy Prime Minister Alexandr Vilkul said on Tuesday. \"In April, for the first time since the beginning of 2013 there was an increase in passenger traffic through Ukrainian airports,\" Vilkul said in a statement. Air travellers rose 4.5 percent year-on-year in April, indicating the country\'s air transport market is emerging from the negative trend of the first quarter, Vilkul said. He said passengers at Ukraine\'s airports will further increase in summer. The Aerosvit airline declared bankruptcy in January, disrupting hundreds domestic and international flights. According to the State Aviation Service, during the January-March period, air travellers at Ukrainian airports dropped 0.1 percent year-on-year to 2.38 million.
