Ukraine's auto production surged 48.9 percent year-on-year in July to 844 units, the Ukravtoprom Analysis Group said on Friday in their latest report.
The growth in the industry was driven mainly by an increase in passenger car output, which jumped 82.2 percent year-on-year to 625 units, the report said.
Commercial vehicle production stood at 141 units, down 7.8 percent from a year earlier, while the output of buses was up 9.9 percent to 78 units, it said.
