
Chinese President Xi Jinping met Thursday US Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of the Treasure Jack Lew.
They discussed bilateral relations and issues of joint interest. The Chinese President said that the two countries made progress during the 6th and 5th round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue. He called for both countries to work harder on advancing bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Kerry and Lew described the talks as fruitful, they also expressed the US administration to enhance dialogue with China and advance economic cooperation by signing a bilateral investment agreement. Kerry also called on both administrations to respond to global challenges to maintain peace and stability in the world.
