
Minister of Public Works and Roads Omar al-Korshumi discussed on Sunday with Turkey's ambassador to Yemen Fazli Çorman the joint cooperation areas between the two countries.
The meeting dealt with the opportunities available in the field of public works and roads and the possibility of benefiting from the Turkish companies' expertise in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Yemen.
Al-Korshumi pointed out that Yemen has a number of strategic road projects to be implemented during the coming period and funded by the World Bank and the group of Friends of Yemen. He welcomed the participation of the Turkish companies in implementing those projects.
The Turkish ambassador said that the participation of Turkish companies in thos projects would enhance the excellent bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
