
FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 1.97 percent, or 133.22 points, to 6,620.48 points.
Investor sentiment was hammered by concerns about the future of Greece and the Eurozone.
Intertek Group's share price increased by 2.06 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Randgold Resources Ltd. and Fresnillo increased by 0.59 percent and 0.36 percent respectively.
TUI AG Reg Shs led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.10 percent, followed by International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (4.14 percent), Standard Life (3.74 percent), ARM Holdings (3.67 percent) and InterContinental Hotels Group (3.44 percent). Enditem
