CBE: No intention to issue one pound banknote

The Central Bank Egypt (CBE) denied any intention to issue banknotes of one pound, 50 piasters or 25 piasters, CBE reliable sources said.
In statements to MENA, the sources said this does not mean banning banknotes of such currency units in market.
Some websites have alleged that the CBE plans to issue paper money of one pound, 50 piasters or 35 piasters.
