
China will extend a 200 million dollar grant to Egypt, the Egyptian international cooperation minister said.
Egypt and China will sign the grant deal during the coming Chinese president's visit to Egypt, Sahar Nasr said in statements on Thursday.
The grant will help develop health, sanitation and infrastructure projects as well as development projects of the New Suez Canal, she said.
Concerning the Saudi petroleum grants to Egypt, she said Saudi petroleum shipments to Egypt will start as of January, noting that there is Egyptian-Saudi cooperation to improve Egyptians' standard of living an developing Sinai.
