
The US dollar changed hands just above the 109 yen line early Tuesday morning in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.08-12 yen compared with 108.99-109.09 yen in New York and 108.76-78 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro fetched 1.1314-1315 dollars and 123.42-49 yen against 1.1315-1325 dollars and 123.38-48 yen in New York and 1.1315-1317 dollars and 123.06-10 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
