
The US dollar changed hands in the lower 108 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, retreating from levels seen in later trade in New York on Friday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 108.07-13 yen compared with 108.73-83 yen in New York and 109.29-31 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1297-1301 dollars and 122.09-10 yen against 1.1276-1286 dollars and 122.69-79 yen in New York and 1.1258-1260 dollars and 123.04-08 yen late Friday afternoon in Tokyo.
