The U.S. dollar changed hands at the mid-101 yen level early Wednesday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.46-48 yen compared with 101.52-62 yen in New York and 101.80-82 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The euro fetched 1.3617-3617 dollars and 138.16-17 yen against 1.3607-3617 dollars and 138.21-31 yen in New York and 1.3591-3592 dollars and 138.36-40 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
