The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 101 yen range on Thursday morning in Tokyo deals, slightly lower from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.72-73 yen compared with 101.79-89 yen in New York and 101.81-83 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The euro fetched 1.3592-3593 dollars and 138.27-31 yen against 1.3586-3596 dollars and 138.33-43 yen in New York and 1.3620-3621 dollars and 138.67-71 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
