Dollar trades in upper ¥108 range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 108 yen range on Tuesday morning in Tokyo deals, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 108.88-89 yen compared with 108.73-83 yen in New York and 109.42-44 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro fetched 1.2643-2644 dollars and 137.67-69 yen against 1.2650-2660 dollars and 137.61-71 yen in New York and 1.2537-2538 dollars and 137.18-22 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
