Dollar trades in upper ¥117 range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 117 yen range on Tuesday morning in Tokyo deals, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.84-85 yen compared with 117.76-86 yen in New York and 118.22-24 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro fetched 1.2439-2441 dollars and 146.58-62 yen against 1.2433-2443 dollars and 146.63-73 yen in New York and 1.2454-2456 dollars and 147.24-28 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
