
Egypt Central Bank said Sunday that the country's foreign currency reserves declined by by USD 1.027 billion last November compared to the month before.
The announcement was made in a press statement, adding that the amount of foreign currency reserves was USD 15.882 billion last November down from USD 16.909 in the previous month (October).
Central Bank Governor Hisham Ramez has recently said that Egypt has returned, on November 28th, a Qatari deposit totaling USD 2.5 billion, noting that the effects of such move on foreign currency reserves was minimum.
