Holcim Liban’s 2011 profits down by 15.9 %

Holcim Liban, a leading cement producer, declared net profits of $28.3 million in 2011, down by 15.9 percent from $33.7 million in 2010. Gross sales reached $195.6 million in 2011, up by 5.7 percent from $185 million in 2010. Gross profits were $35.6 million in 2011, down by 11.6 percent from $40.3 million in 2010. Total assets stood at $300.6 million at end-2011, 4.5 percent higher than those of end-2010 which totaled $287.7 million. from daily star.
