
Japanese shares opened higher Thursday as European stock markets continued to bounce back from the shock of last week's British vote to leave the European Union.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 185.88 points, or 1.19 %, to trade at 15,752.71 at the opening bell.
The broader Topix index was up 14.73 points, or 1.18 %, to stand at 1,262.42.
