Karachi index gains 210 points

Pakistan\'s benchmark stock index, the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index, rose 1.20 per cent at the close. The index of 100 companies traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange rose 209.93 to 17,701.93. Among the stocks in the index, 70 rose, 15 fell and 15 were unchanged. Gains in the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index were led by Mcb Bank, Engro Corporation and Unilever Pakistan. Engro Corporation, which rose Rs4.04 to Rs121.15, was the most active stock by value in Pakistan. The next most-active issues were Dg Khan Cement, which rose Rs2.15 to Rs65.26, and Nishat Mills, which rose Rs3.90 to Rs81.99. time of oman
