Kuwait bourse ends Monday trade on positive note

The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Monday\'s trading session in the green zone, with variance in the gains of the market\'s three main indices. The weighted index gained 0.61 points and the price and KSX-15 indices came up by 47.8 points and 0.6 points, respectively. The traded volume hit 381.6 million shares, changing hands in 6,340 deals at a total value of KD 39.2 million. Monday\'s top active shares were (ADNC), (GFH), (MANAZEL), (IRC), and (MAYADEEN). The top gainers were (IFAHR), (MARAKEZ), (ADNC), (MANAZEL), and (TIJARA). As for sector performance, the Consumer Services Sector was the top gainer, gaining 17.1 points and 25.1 points in the price and weighted indices respectively. Technology sector was meanwhile the top loser, losing 13.8 points in the price index.
