
The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly closed higher on Tuesday.
The three-month unofficial copper price increased 69.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.49 percent, to 4,737 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 19 U.S. dollars, or 1.26 percent, to 1,531 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price increased 20 U.S. dollars, or 1.18 percent, to 1,711 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 70 U.S. dollars, or 4.00 percent, to 1,822 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 150 U.S. dollars, or 1.74 percent, to 8,750 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price lost 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.30 percent, to 16,875 U.S. dollars a tonne.
