Planning Minister Ashraf Arabi said on Sunday a new application has been launched on smart phones to offer several governmental services.
Hokomti (My government) will save time lost in measures of governmental services, Arabi said on the sidelines of 2015 Cairo ICT fairs.
The services provided by the newly-launched application include renewing car licenses and paying electricity and water bills for fees of EGP 10, said the minister.
The step will also help in cutting corruption by separating applicants from services providers, said the minister.
The service of car licences is currently confined to Cairo and Giza and will be soon over all other governorates, he noted.
He said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has praised the application.
