The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 17.07 points or 0.20% to 8,385.33 points from the previous closing of 8,402.40. The volume of shares traded was down to 3,935,857 from 5,055,912 on Sunday, and the value of shares fell to QR188,586,762.16 from QR230,998,368.94 Sunday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 0.35% to QR141.90, Comm. Bank of Qatar fell 0.87% to QR80.00,int l. Islamic Bank lost 0.55% to QR54.00 and Qatar Insurance down 0.63% to QR79.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 66.10 points while the Insurance sector fell 43.22 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 4.69 points and the Services sector added 16.15 points.
