The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 19.53 points or 0.24% to 8,263.82 points from the previous closing of 8,283.35. The volume of shares traded was down to 4,873,600 from 5,102,080 , and the value of shares decreased to QR 131,694,577.13 from QR 192,292,111.55 Sunday Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.67% to QR 132.70 , United Dev. Company lost 1.13 to QR 18.45, Doha Bank fell 1.06% to QR 56.00and Comm. Bank of Qatar down 1.55% to QR 69.80 . Among the top gainers were Al khalij Commercial Bank which was up 1.50% to QR16.90 , National Leasing rose 3.91% to QR 42.50 and Qatar Islamic Bank gained 0.65% to QR 77.50 . The Banking and Financial sector dropped by 2.37 points while the Insurance sector was by up 9.03points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 11.17 points and the Services sector was down 13.56 points.
