The Qatar Exchange was down on Sunday 28.74 points or 0.34% to 8,454.90 points from the previous closing of 8,483.64. The volume of shares traded was up to 51,055,492 from 50,394,670 Thursday, and the value of shares increased to QR1,099,717,983.34 from QR1,087,217,570.18 Thursday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.72% to QR137.50, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 77.70 to QR0.38, International Islamic Bank fell 0.39% to QR51.10 and Qatar Telecom down 0.93% to QR106.80. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 6.64 points while the Insurance sector added 2.60 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 15.95 points and the Services sector down 1.75 points.
