The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 54.53 points or 0.63% to 8,626.02 points from the previous closing of 8,680.55 . The volume of shares traded was up to 6,249,764 from 4,658,253 on Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR245,893,694.97 from QR164,823,827.47 Monday. Among the top losers were Barwa Real Estate whose share dropped by 1.32% to QR22.40,Masref Al Rayan fell 1.99% to QR23.11, Qatar Telecom lost 3.30% to QR158.20 and United Dev. Company dropped 1.32% to QR22.40. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 62.22 points while the Insurance sector gained 43.22 points. The Qatar industrial sector fell 26.12 points and the Services sector lost 65.49 points.
