The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 81.91 points or 0.98% to 8,294.73 points from the previous closing of 8,376.64. The volume of shares traded was up to 9,295,614 from 5,330,123 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR377,702,469.33 from QR256,955,552.80 Sunday. Among the top losers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share dropped by 3.26% to QR80.00, Doha Bank fell 2.07% to QR61.40, Gulf International lost 1.90% to QR25.80 and Al Kaleej Takaful down 4.57% to QR41.80. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 14.05 points while the Insurance sector added 60.51 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 111.60 points and the Services sector fell 36.79 points.
