
Qatar Exchange index continued its good run on Thursday going up 111.31 points (+0.84%) to close trading at 13,284.65 points.
The trading value reached QR 946.167 Million with a volume of 22,641,942 shares from 9,737 transactions today. Of the 43 listed companies, 26 made gains, 14 went down and two remained unchanged.
Qatar individual investors bought a volume of 12,747,049 shares of 41 companies worth QR 473.904 Million (50.09%) and sold a volume of 12,559,639 shares of 41 companies worth QR 524.869 Million (55.47%).
They bought a volume of 3,458,988 shares of 37 companies worth QR 174.855 Million (18.48%) and sold a volume of 4,935,018 shares of 34 companies worth QR 199.131 Million (21.05%).
Medicare led the gainers today with substantial change of almost 10% with a volume of 882,764 shares from 659 transactions to close at QR 101.30 from Wednesday's closing at QR 92.10.
Gulf International closed at QR 111.80, up 3.04%. Doha Insurance also made fair gains, up 9.01% to close at QR 27.60 from the previous QR 25.60.
Qatar General Insurance slid -4.17% to close the day at QR 46 from the previous QR 48.
