The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Wednesday adding 11.58 points or 0.14% to 8,464.04 points from 8,452.46 on Tuesday. The volume of shares traded down to 7,356,819 from 8,767,072 on Tuesday and the value of shares fell to QR253,142,736.04 from QR270,887,502.62 Tuesday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 0.37% to QR80.50, Qatar Insurance by 0.39% to QR76.80, Al Kaleej Takaful by 0.53% to QR47.00 and National Leasing up by 1.18% to QR42.90. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 17.55 while the Insurance sector gained 25.93 points. The Qatar industrial sector fell 6.95 points and the Services sector rose 11.83 points.
