The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Monday adding 25.45 points or 0.30% to 8,583.25 points from the previous closing of 8,557.80. The volume of shares traded was up to 5,800,131 from 32,842,349 on Sunday and the value of shares was increased to QR225,559,290.37 from QR107,336,056.43 Sunday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.37% to QR148.10, Industries Qatar rose 0.99% to QR132.00, Comm. Bank of Qatar gained 1.00% to QR80.70 and Doha Bank up by 0.48% to QR63.40. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 99.19 while the Insurance sector gained 8.65 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 50.55 points and the Services sector lost 33.13 points.
