The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Sunday adding 35.54 points or 0.40% to 8,816.02 points from the previous closing of 8,780.48 . The volume of shares traded was down to 53,811,740 from 53,997,219 on Thursday and the value of shares was fell to QR1,295,688,918.44 from QR1,356,927,875.27 Thursday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.20% to QR151.30, Qatar Islamic Bank rose 1.08% to QR84.10, Masref Al Rayan gained 0.72% to QR28.10 and Doha Bank up by 0.79% to QR6.90. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 116.03 while the Insurance sector dropped 69.15 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 68.03 points and the Services sector lost 24.30 points.
