The Qatar Exchange keep its upward trend Thursday adding 40.25 points or 0.46% to 8,732.75 points from 8,692.50 Wednesday. The volume of shares traded was up to 7,954,859 from 6,751,885 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR435, 615,821.70 from QR329, 241,348.32 Wednesday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.38% to QR139.30, Electricity and Water by 1.40% to QR145.00, Qatar Navigation by 4.10% to QR73.70 and Mazaya Qatar up by 1.01% to QR7.99. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 16.27 points while the Insurance sector gained 1.14 points. The Qatar industrial sector up 86.88 points and the Services sector rose 45.44 points.
