The Qatar Exchange in the green area once again Wednesday adding 65.56 points or 0.78% to 8,418.16 points from 8,352.60 on Tuesday. The volume of shares traded up to 6,452,474 from 5,385,706 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR366,094,709.85 from QR244,093,354.81 Tuesday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 2.82% to QR80.20, Electricity & Water by 2.03% to QR140.90, Doha Bank by 1.31% to QR62.10 and Al khalij Commercial Bank up by 1.88% to QR17.32. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 131.13 while the Insurance sector gained 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 19.53 points and the Services sector rose 33.46 points.
