The Qatar Exchange in the green area Sunday adding 70.27 points or 0.84% to 8,432.86 points from the previous closing of 8,362.59 . The volume of shares traded was up to 8,982,906 from 5,334,757 on Thursday and the value of shares was increased to QR277,144,287.81 from QR234,644,586.03 Thursday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 2.15% to QR142.50, Barwa Real Estate rose 1.36% to QR29.85, Electricity & Water gained 2.87% to QR143.50 and Al Kaleej Takaful up by 2.17% to QR47.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 125.25 while the Insurance sector fell 8.64 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 81.04 points and the Services sector rose 33.81 points.
