
Qatar Stock Exchange index was slightly up by 6.24 points (+0.05%) when trading closed at 13,729.78 points Thursday.
The trading value dropped marginally to QR 666.401 million from QR 667.777 million on Wednesday.
The trading volume dropped to 11,088,790 shares from 6,363 transactions compared to 11,360,746 shares from 6,412 transactions on Wednesday.
Indices of four sectors ended in green with real estate sector gaining the most, up 0.78%, and three sectors ending in the red, down slightly from -0.02% (consumer goods) to -0.20% (industries) today.
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 25 went up, 12 declined and six remained unchanged.
National Cement Company was the top gainer today in terms of percentage as well as price, up +2.65% to QR 135.50, an increase by QR 3.50..
Three real estate companies made gains today.
United Development Company share was up +0.56% to QR 26.95. Barwa share was up +1.20% to QR 50.70 and Ezdan was up +0.73% to QR 19.20.
Mazaya Qatar share dropped -0.98% to QR 24.20.
