Qatar Stock Exchange index (QSE) gained 98.57 points or +0.90% when the bourse closed trading at 11,053.88 points on Sunday.
The volume of the shares traded down to 6,769,223 from 7,617,224 on Thursday and the value of shares decreased to QR230,580,818.84 from QR279,103,908.93 Thursday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 43 saw trading today. From these 27 gained, 12 closed lower and four remained unchanged.
Indices of six sectors ended in the green and one in the red.
QSE Total Return Index gained +0.90% to 17,884.44 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.54% to 4,226.84 points and QSE All Share Index gained
+0.78% to 3,044.23 points.
