Qatar stock exchange up 0.25%

The Qatar Exchange in green area on Tuesday 10,072.05 points or 0.25 % to 25.48 points from the previous closing of 10,046.57 points on Sunday. The volume of the shares down to 10,438,544 from 14,676,780 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR 343,189,784.65 from QR 472,713,191.71 on Monday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 0.59% to QR 170.00, Electricity & Water whose share added 1.49% to QR 163.00, Intl. Islamic Bank gained 0.34% to QR 58.50 and Gulf warehousing Co increased by 0.88% to QR 40.15. The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 0.38 % points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.08 % points. The industrial sector was added 0.28% points while insurance sector up 0.31% points.
