Qatar stock exchange up 1.07%

Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Wednesdayadding 131.97 points (1.07%) to advance to 12,453.86 points from 12,321.89 onTuesday.The volume of the shares traded up to 35,161,071 from 26,075,713 on Tuesday andthe value of shares increased to QR1,138,312,504.31 from QR944,859,059.85 Tuesday.Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 4.74% to QR81.70,International Islamic Bank gained 3.80% to QR82.00, Vodafone Qatar added 9.99% toQR15.41 and Masraf Al Rayan up by 3.12% to QR44.60.The Banking and Financial sector index was added 1.35 points while ConsumerGoods and Services sector index up 0.73 points. The industrial sector was lost 0.52points while insurance sector gained 1.14 points.
