Qatar stock exchange up 2.29%

 Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Tuesday adding266.15 points (2.29%) to advance to 11,905.94 points from 11,639.79 on Monday.The volume of the shares traded up to 23,024,676 from 18,377,364 on Monday andthe value of shares increased to QR 1,042,842,439.37 from QR794,083,692.63 Monday.Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 2.88% to QR193.00,International Islamic Bank gained 4.17% to QR75.00, Vodafone Qatar added 1.39% toQR12.38 and Masraf Al Rayan up by 3.40% to QR41.05.The Banking and Financial sector index was rose 2.20 points while Consumer Goodsand Services sector index gained 0.34 points. The industrial sector was added 2.44points while insurance sector up 0.47 points.
