
Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index continued its green run for the second consecutive day, gaining 98.42 points (+0.86%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,586.83 points Monday.
The market capitalisation increased QR 627.22 Billion from QR 620.65 Billion registered Sunday.
The traded value today increased to QR 394.71 Million with a volume of 7,741,352 shares from 5,604 transactions compared to QR 317.70 Million with a volume of 7,416,600 shares from 3,571 transactions registered Sunday.
Indices of all sectors made fair gains today with industries advancing the most, up +1.80% to 3,808.94 points as shares of seven companies gained, led by Aamal up +3.91% to QR 15.40.
Real estate was up +1.63% to 2,384.66 points with three of the four listed companies gaining, led by Ezdan Holding up +1.30% to QR 15.58. Barwa closed -1.98% lower, dropping 90 dirhams to QR 44.50.
Banks and financial services gained +1.19% (3,152.73 points), telecoms +1.15% (1,325.42 points), insurance +0.72% (4,147.07 points), consumer goods and services +0.59% (6,844.58 points) and transport +0.17% (2,384.66 points).
QSE's Total Return index was up +1.29% (18,005.03 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index up +1.43% (4,248.73 points) and QSE All Share index +1.28% (3,105.12 points) today.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these 27 gained and 10 went down and four remained unchanged.
