
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 203.04 points (-1.70%) when it closed at 11,761.11 points here Monday.
The traded value today increased QR 380.51 Million with a volume of 7,613,824 shares from 5,138 transactions compared to QR 292.25 Million with a volume of 7,372,780 shares from 4,710 transactions on Sunday.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red for the second consecutive day.
Telecoms sector index fell the most, down by -2.54% to 1,321.87 points. Industries dropped -1.92% (3,860.14 points).
Banks and financial services index fell -1.34% (3,183.85 points), insurance -1.22% (4,123.56 points), consumer goods and services -1.18% (7,049.44 points).
Transport and real estate index fell -0.79 points each to 2,464.99 and 2,361.33 points respectively.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 37 were traded today. From these 35 went down, none gained and two remained unchanged.
