
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 26.62 points (-0.21%) when it closed Thursday at 12,445.34 points from Wednesday's position of 12,471.96 points.
The market capitalization today decreased to QR 675.34 Billion from QR 676.76 Billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value increased to QR 454.266 Million with a volume of 9,653,186 shares from 5,631 transactions today compared with QR 438.31 Million with a volume of 11,182,872 shares from 5,574 transactions on Wednesday.
Transport index gained the most, up +0.41% (2,441.06 points) followed by industries +0.29% (4,047.37 points), telecoms +0.15% (1,424.16 points) and real estate +0.14% (2,454.22 points).
Banks and financial services' index dropped -0.60% to 3,294 points, consumer goods and services dropped -0.27% (7,276.33 points) and insurance dropped -0.22% (4,105.5 points).
Shares of 16 companies closed higher today, 23 dropped and four remained unchanged.
