
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 136.40 points (-1.11%) when it closed at 12,127.98 points here Wednesday.
The bourse' market capitalisation reached QR 658.963 Billion today.
The traded value today decreased to QR 293.39 Million with a volume of 6,086,865 shares from 4,051 transactions compared to QR 418.66 Million with a volume of 9,497,235 shares from 4,702 transactions on Tuesday.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone today. Telecom index dropped the most, down -3.08% to 1,385.77 points.
Real estate dropped -0.88% (2,413.87 points), industries -0.83% (4,012.97 points), transport -0.67% (2,497.69 points), insurance -0.56% (4,070.24 points), banks and financial services -0.54% (3,260.28 points) and consumer goods and services dropped -0.42% (7,147.38 points).
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 41 were traded today. From these 29 went down, 11 gained and one remained unchanged.
