
Qatar Stock Exchange index Tuesday dropped further 51.77 points (-0.41%) when it closed at 12,553.69 points from Monday's position of 12,605.46 points.
The traded value today however increased to QR 628.083 Million with a volume of 14,506,977 shares from 6,268 transactions compared with QR 437.33 Million with a volume of 9,695,624 shares from 4,988 transactions on Monday.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone, barring insurance which gained slightly +0.22% when it closed at 4,084.8 points.
Telecoms index dropped the most today, down -1.55% to 1,418.47 points. Real estate dropped -1.13% (2,532.93 points). Banks and financial services dropped slightly by -0.10% (3,265.94 points).
Shares of 26 companies closed lower today, 11 gained while three remained unchanged.
