
Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 83.87 points (-0.68%) when the bourse closed trading at 12,164.48 points Thursday.
The market capitalisation decreased to QR 653.76 Billion from QR 657.07 Billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value dropped to QR 441.65 Million with a volume of 8,517,242 shares from 5,545 transactions compared to QR 726.94 Million with a volume of 14,745,521 shares from 7,018 transactions on Wednesday.
Indices of four sectors gained and three dropped today. Telecoms index advanced the most, up +1.20% to 1,304.9 points and real estate index declined the most, down -0.84% to 2,621.39 points.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.68% (18,904.24 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -0.62% (4,617.29 points). QSE All Share Index dropped -0.55% (3,250.66 points).
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these, 12 advanced, 26 declined and three remained unchanged.
