
Qatar Stock Exchange index closed higher Sunday, up 15.02 points (+0.11%) to 13,744.80 points.
The trading value dropped QR 627.949 Million from QR 666.401 Million registered Thursday.
The trading volume dropped to 10,085,297 shares from 6,204 transactions compared to 11,088,790 shares from 6,363 transactions on Thursday.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 743.921 Billion from QR 742.415 Billion registered Thursday.
Indices of four sectors ended in the green with real estate sector gaining the most, up +0.85%, and three sectors ended in the red.
Transport index dropped the most -1.27% followed by telecoms (-0.91%) and insurance down marginally by -0.03%.
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 23 went down, 16 advanced and four remained unchanged.
National Cement Company continued its green run today, adding QR 3.30 (+2.44%) to the QR 135.50 its share gained Thursday.
Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company share was the top gainer in percentage terms, up +9.89% to QR 47.80.
Today two real estate companies made gains while two declined.
Barwa was up +2.76% to QR 52.10 with a traded value of QR 107.042 Million with a transaction volume of 2,088,267 shares. Ezdan was up +0.47% to QR 19.29.
United Development Company share dipped -0.74% to QR 26.75 while Mazaya Qatar share dropped -1.16% to QR 23.92.
