
Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index continued its green run Thursday, going up slightly by 40.26 points (+0.34%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,987.71 points.
Indices of four sectors made gains while three declined today.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 643.85 Billion from QR 642.40 Billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value today jumped to QR 454.53 Million with a volume of 13,461,091 shares from 5,979 transactions compared to QR 365.23 Million with a volume of 9,559.645 shares from 4,888 transactions on Wednesday.
Real estate index continued its lead over other sectors today as well. It gained +1.41% when it closed the day at 2,568.29 points. It had gained +3.02% (2,532.67 points) on Wednesday.
Telecoms index followed next, up +0.68% (1,336.5 points), banks and financial services +0.33% (3,193.63 points) and consumer goods and services, up +0.08% 7,071.68 points.
Insurance index dropped -2.16% to 4,053.93 points, transport -0.35% (2,437.18 points) and industries dipped slightly by -0.08% to 3,980.9 points.
QSE's Total Return index gained +0.34% (18,627.96 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index +0.72% (4,467.5 points) and QSE All Share index +0.24% (3,197.21 points) today.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these 25 advanced, 14 went down, and two remained unchanged.
